A CANADA DAY!

I've always wanted an army green cargo jacket, but never found a suitable one because I'm so busty and top-heavy. I kept looking, though, because I love this style. Then one day I saw this on the clearance racks of our local Macy's:

Tried it on and fell instantly in love! It's by a Canadian clothing line, Costa Blanca, and the day I wore it was very windy and blustery. It was comfortable and cute, and I loved it so much I didn't want to take it off! ^_^  Here's a closeup:

With it, I wore a pair of boots by another Canadian company, John Fluevog.  I swear I didn't mean to do a "Canada" theme, but weirdly these just went together!

Usually Fluevogs are too expensive for me, but I got these on clearance years ago. I love how form-fitting they are even on my chicken legs -- well-fitting boots for thin calves are about as hard to find as the proverbial needles in haystacks, so I was thrilled with these!

I'm really impressed with Canadian brands. Their quality is really good, and the styles are fantastic too!

Love the boots, I never heard of that brand before, I'll have to google it. I'm glad you got a good deal on that jacket, I know you were glad you waited and found it on the Clearance rack.

Thanks BC! I love Fluevogs, but they're very expensive ... at least, to me. A pair of boots can easily cost $400 and up. I got these on sale for something like $90, which is kind of unbelievable for this brand. They've been around for a long time (since the '80s I think), and their styles are always super cool!
